Studio Rules and Guidelines
Welcome to Burton Tattoo Studio! Please review our guidelines to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. We prioritize safety, cleanliness, and a friendly atmosphere for all clients. During your visit, I will discuss your design ideas, explain the process, and ensure you feel comfortable throughout your session. I appreciate punctuality and ask that you arrive prepared and relaxed for your appointment.

Studio Rules and Expectations
Age Requirement – You must be 18 or older. Bring valid photo ID (passport, driving licence, or PASS card). No exceptions.
Health & Safety – Please disclose all relevant medical conditions on your waiver form. If you are unwell on the day, contact me before your appointment.
Hygiene – Come showered and clean. Wear loose, comfortable clothing that gives access to the tattoo area.
Guests – Space is limited. Please check in advance if you wish to bring a friend / family member.
Food & Drink – Eat a good meal before your appointment and stay hydrated. Do not drink alcohol or use recreational drugs before your tattoo — you may be refused service and lose your deposit.
Blood Thinners /Aspirin – For your safety and to ensure proper healing, clients must not be taking blood-thinning medications or substances prior to their tattoo appointment.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Aspirin
- Warfarin / Coumadin
- Eliquis
- Xarelto
- Pradaxa
- Heparin
- High-dose NSAIDs (e.g., Ibuprofen, Naproxen)
Failure to disclose the use of blood thinners may result in your appointment being refused or rescheduled without deposit refund. Blood thinners increase bleeding, interfere with ink retention, and significantly raise the risk of complications.
If you are unsure whether a medication or supplement is a blood thinner, please consult your doctor before booking.
Behaviour – Respectful behaviour is expected at all times. Rudeness or inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated.
Aftercare – You’ll be given detailed aftercare instructions/guidance to help your tattoo heal properly and avoid infection. Looking after your tattoo properly helps to keep your tattoo looking great for the near and distant future. This will be your responsibility but feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
Punctuality – Please arrive promptly for your scheduled appointment. If you are going to arrive late, please contact me with as much notice as practicably possible.
Cancellations – Please contact me within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment if you wish to cancel or change your appointment. Unfortunately cancellations within 48 hours will result in loss of your deposit.
